What decides the map pack
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how far you are from the searcher) and prominence, which it describes as how well-known a business is, including how many websites link to it and how many reviews it has (Google). Distance is fixed. The other two are the work.

- Customers visit you, or you go to them
- They search with an area or “near me”
- You have, or could get, reviews

- You sell online or island-wide
